Production Maintenance & Process Engineer

Bosal Energy Conversion Industry, located in Ijsselstein the Netherlands, develops and produces High performance fully welded thin foil heat exchangers.
The production plant is established in 2022 and is at the moment up and running, fully operational and heading to the 4 face of the production objectives.
Actually the operation is supported by a number of third part contractors for the maintenance and repair of the production line.

Due to the future optimization of the plant Bosal is looking for a fully dedicated Production Maintenance & Process Engineer that will take full responsibility for the the (operational) maintenance and repair of the plant and the production facilities.

As you will...

  • Performs maintenance and repairs on machinery, tools, materials and building, according to the instructions of the Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor 
  • Executes programs and procedures necessary to keep the company clean according to the instructions 
  • Monitors the operation of the installation equipment and systems in accordance with the maintenance plan
  • Continuously evaluates the operation of the plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate timely problem resolution, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Analyzes data and makes recommendations for improvements, resolves maintenance issues, and discusses them with the Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor
  • Ensures that the maintenance program is carried out in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
  • Indicates when new parts need to be ordered to maintain safety stock
  • Informs the Maintenance & Facilities Manager when manuals need to be adjusted
  • Communicates regularly with other maintenance technicians and the supervisor, both individually and in groups, to ensure good two-way communication in the field of maintenance
  • Maintains safe, healthy and environmental procedures and guidelines
  • Ensures, in cooperation with the supervisor, that legally prescribed maintenance legislation is complied with
  • Maintains the safety program of the maintenance department, follows the safety reports to maintain the standards with maximum safety
  • Ensures that objectives are achieved
  • Complies with safety, health and environmental regulations, procedures and work instructions to reduce or prevent negative environmental aspects and impacts
  • Saves energy and materials 
  • Makes maximum use of personal protective equipment
  • Responsible for handling materials with care and protecting them from loss or theft
  • Complies with company standards and instructions
  • Respects the Bosal guidelines and objectives and the related documents as well as the customer requirements
  • Respects and adheres to the principles on quality, safety, environment and other internal regulations to minimize the risk of occupational accidents, property damage, fire and the environment.
     

  • Preferably at least 10 years of experience in a technical or production environment
  • Experience of operating in a Total Productive Maintenance environment company to be TS16949 or similar approved;
  • Having the willingness to be a pioneer to set up an entire maintenance program, perform en execute;
  • Experience working with presses grinding machines;
  • Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics and robitca;
  • Technical training;
  • Having had previous experience working as an operator;
  • Preferably minimum 10 years post educational experience or operational equivalent;
  • Preferably Electrical / Automation bias in Automotive / Aerospace / Military / Fast Moving Goods  environments to understand preciseness and pace.
  • Formal education and training to be demonstrated through accredited institutions. (This is a pre -requisite)
  • Capabilities in Dutch (preferable/nice to have) or English ( must have);
  • Candidates typically to have suitable experience for the roles;

  • A gross salary, based on a band width € 3.500,-- / € 4.500,--
  • Shift allowance + 20%
  • Pension contribution 50% - 50%
